If they told you they ended up going to their grown child's house after leaving a bar,...would you believe them?
Would you think they had been messing around with someone?

I think you probably know the answer already. But I guess it would depend on if this happened a lot. If it was just a one time thing I would be pissed but not necessarily think that he is cheating. But in my opinion, married people have no business hanging out until 5:30 in the morn without their spouse.

I would call the kids place and find out what time they got there. Then I would have a talk with said spouse about showing a LITTLE consideration for the one sitting at home alone and worrying about them.

Dana...there is no way for me or anyone to know what to think because we do not know him. I would not jump to the worst conclusions without getting more facts. His reason is entirely plausible and just as likely as him being out with someone else messing around. If this has happened repeatedly or begins to happen often, then you may have reason for doubts.

Call the grown child, and ask them. If they lived closer than home is, it might have been safer to go there than to drive all the way home.....maybe getting a DUI, or killing somebody in the process. If you already suspect they're cheating, then yes, they might have been..... Call, and find out!

I would be careful and investigate. You should know your husband better than any one and if you have suspicions I would check it out. If he is the type of person that will get mad because of the trust issue then that should be another sign. Usually if the guy isn't doing anything wrong he shouldn't make a huge deal out of it. Good luck!

i would be thinking that hes going to be picking up his belongings out of the front yard when he gets home....and that he had better not even think about stepping foot inside the house. I told my husband back when we first started dating that i would not put up with that crap and if it ever happened he would be out of my life. you have to set boundaries from the beginning or a man will walk all over you.

hell no i wouldn't believe that. call the child and ask them in a round about way and see if he was really there. anyone who is old enough to have grown children is old enough to know how to get home.
