Well, as far as I know, you should be pregnant by now. But remember, the more you stress yourself over it the less chance you have, because you throw all your hormones out of kilter. So relax, if it is meant it will happen, the happier you are the better for conception. Be spontaneous also, planning the act, set the Psyche in both of you into the Negative - lowers his sperm - it's all psychological .... follow my advice ....

I was on the pill for 8 years before the hubby and I decided to have a family. I got pregnant 5 months after I stopped. It only took this long because my doctor adviced me to wait 4 months of being off the pill (while using other contraceptives) before trying to get pregnant.
Some women do not ovulate for as long as 12 months after stopping the pill. And for some, ovulation starts right after stopping the pill.
If you want to know, first off, if you are ovulating, I suggest using the Fertility Awareness Method. Get the book "Taking Charge of Your fertility" by Toni Weschler and chart your cycle. This will show you what your body is doing and make it easier for you to conceive.

I was off birth control for about two weeks when I got pregnant. But then again I have gotten pregnant while I was on birth control, so I guess I am just very fertile. It is very different for everyone, it depends on how long it takes your body to adjust to the changes. If you are getting regular periods by now, then you can expect that your body is ready or getting ready.

I was on the pill about 5 or so years after my first child when I went off, not trying to get pregnant but guess what within a month I was pregnant.
So it all depends on the person....

It is totally different for everyone. If you know you can have children, then you might get pregnant the first month. If you are like me it might be two years. But I am an extreme case.
I wish you all the luck.
