Walking, swimming, and going up and down the stairs at least 3to 5 minutes at a time....and the most important...

....pushing yourself away from the table...and getting rid of white sugar, white flour, and soda (unless it's with splenda 0 calories) from your nutrition.

....add more fruit and vegetables for energy...and don't forget fiber...when you ask your parents to buy 8-12 grain bread...more healthy...and low-fat milk...lots for strong bones!

One more exercise, smile everytime you pass a mirror and be proud that you are taking steps to take care of the most important person in the world, YOU!

Distance running. It takes more discipline than many people think, but it can get you into SUCH good shape. Swimming is great as well.

Building endurance is important. Distance sports are the best to get and stay in shape.

swimming and cycling works wonders and is also mentally calming once you get used to it. to relieve stress I get on my bike and go for hours. As a former life guard I witnessed a man of great shape fall asleep while doing lengths.

basically any..gymnastics, hockey, and lacrosse are just a few that are really fun to play..gymnastics gives you a great body, but may be difficult to pick up at 12 years old..so i would suggest hockey or lacrosse..maybe even both :)
