It is very possible for you to be pregnant, especially if your only form of birth control at times was the vasectomy. The birth control pill, when taken exactly as prescribed, is still not 100% effective, and if you missed pills it severely decreases the effectiveness. If you tested faint positive, it is possible that it's due to the hormones from the birth control pills, but if you also missed your period, it's likely that you're pregnant. You should go to your doctor immediately because continuing to take the pill while pregnant could cause your unborn child harm.

A faint positive is STILL positive. You're probably pregnant.
Especially since you miss pills every once in a while, I'd certainly assume you're pregnant. False positives are very rare. But if you don't trust it, go to a doctor and get a blood test. They are more accurate.
He may not have had a vasectomy, even though he says he has. But even if he really did, they are not always completely successful and it could have come "undone". There is a small chance of pregnancy. Sounds like you're the one that got that chance.

It is possible you are pregnant, but I have mostly seen the results rather vividly when my wife is pregnant. Perhaps you should consider a few things to help you determine better.
1) Go to a Doctor for a test. This will be definative.
2) If the Doctor appoint is too long to wait, buy a different brand of test, and retest yourself.
In the meantime, take good care of yourself physically and mentally. Find a good friend or mental health professional to discuss how you feel. Having support can make a world of difference.
The big thing right now is taking care of yourself. After this passes, you can take time to evaluate what changes make sense for yourself.

Did they have positives during the time period the tests tell you to read them? If so, then go to the Dr to have a blood test taken to find out for sure. If the tests showed positive, but it was outside of the timeframe it tells you to read it, it may not be accurate. Consider a more reliable type of birthcontrol if you cannot use it properly.

Even a faint line is posistive most the time. Call your dr and go in for a blood test. Still possible that it's false but more likely posistive in my experience. Although it should be brighter if you haven't had you period in 2 months. CALL YOU DR.

Even a faint line is a positve one. It's very rare to get false positives unless youre taking a med with HCG in it, have just miscarried or have a certian kind of tumor. I would make a drs appt.

The chances of you being pregnant with him having a vas is very slight...but the possibility is there. I really wouldn't worry too much about it, the more you worry, the more you period will not come. As far as the faint positive...try another brand of test and use it first thing in the morning.
Good luck!

a faint positive is usually a true positive...the only thing that can make a test show positive when your not pregnant is taking a medication with the hcg hormone in it

just b/c he said he had a vasectomy doesnt mean he really did, ever seen the scar?, Dr's release papers, anything to let you know that he is being honest with you?, if you turn up pregnant he has an easy way out," It aint mine I'm cut".....dont take for granted that the man is concerned with your health, handle your own health, you be in control....be careful
