BE CAREFUL!!
Many of the "free" "Virus Removal Tools" are virus-like themselves!
Print this answer if you can. (If you decide to use this).
The best one I've found so far is "SpyBot Search and Destroy".
it is available at
www.spybot.com
Dowload the program and install it.
Launch the program.
Download ALL of the updates.
Use the "Immunize" option.
After you have ALL of the updates,
Shut down your PC.
Wait about 30 seconds after you computer has completely shut down.
Un-plug your network conection.
Then power up your PC.
As soon as it starts to power up, start pressing the "F8" key every 3 to 5 seconds.
This will bring up a "Boot" menu.
Use the option to start the computer in "Safe" mode.
(NOT with network support)
Once your computer has started in "Safe" mode, run
SpyBot Search and Destroy.
Do a complete system scan and see what you find.
Then shut down your computer again.
Plug in your network connection.
Start your computer up again.
GOOD LUCK!
