her lower back is very sore, and her hips are too. it's been like this for a day now.

her period is going to start soon. 12 is a vary normal age for this to be starting. just tell her to take a pain killer like advil and it should help. tell her to be prepared at school if case it ends up starting there.

It could possibly be , she is going to start her period soon . . . . if she hasn't already . Or she might have a pulled muscle or sleep on her side or back wrong ? It could be anything ...
Consult with a doctor if it doesn't go away ..

has she had a period yet? it could be that or she could be ovulating.
