it's grade 8 math, and it's about patterns of algebra.the question is:
1,4,9,16,___,___,___,___,81.
can you find the missing numbers,and write the rule please.the first one with the right answer is gonna get 10 points.

i got it!
ITs patterns by square roots.
1^2 is 1
2^2 is 4
3^2 is 9..
and so on till
9^2 is 81.

1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81
Here is how it works...
1 X 1 = 1
2 X 2 = 4
3 X 3 = 9
4 X 4 = 16
5 X 5 = 25
etc.
It's just the square of each number! Hope this helps.

It's the square of:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9.

1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, & 81.

1 * 1 = 1
2 * 2 = 4
3 * 3 = 9
4 * 4 = 16
5 * 5 = 25
6 * 6 = 36
7 * 7 = 49
8 * 8 = 64
9 * 9 = 81

you have to add odd #'s

so it's 1,4 b/c you added 3

it's 4,9 b/c you added 5

it's 9,16 b/c you added 7

so then it's 9, 11, 13, 15, 17

so 16 + 9=25

25 + 11= 36

36 + 13= 49

49 + 15=64

64 + 17= 81

So, the numbers would be 25, 36, 49, 64

And if you haven't noticed these numbers are all perfect squares.

the rule is (starting from the beginning) +3,+5,+7.......(you add the lowest to highest odd number every time)
the answer would be 1,4,9,16,25,36, 49, 64, 81
