My dad decided today that i was having a bad attitude. He took me a ticket to a football game i was planning to go to tonight. A very important game. When he did that i lost my temper and he was real harsh on me for it ( hard punishment) and he warned me to not even consider sneaking out to go or else and not sulk over it cuz i looked for it . I really want to go to the game. My dad is very strict so things like talking wont work.

What would you do ?
A. Look for the ticket , steal it and sneak out and go to the game
B. Don't see the game

Well.. If you sneak out then you may want to make sure that you have another place to stay at. My parents put me out temporarily when I did something like that. However, I was able to do what I wanted to do. If you don't go to this game Live is there a chance that you can catch it on T.V.?

I would be working on pleasing my parent's so that I can make it the next time.

Good Luck

If you go with A you'll get into more $hit because your dad will probably make sure that the ticket is somewhere safe... he wasn't born yesterday, regardless of whether he's strict of not.

So go with B. You know you did wrong. You shouldn't get a reward for acting immaturely. And remember the world's not gonna end over a "very important" football game.

I think the answer to this question depends on where your interests lie. Would you rather see this football game, or have a good repoir with your dad. If you really want to surprise him, ask him to do something with you. Explain to him that while you may not understand his reason for not letting you go to the game, your respect his decision. Then ask him if he wants to do something with you instead. His reaction will depend on what kind of person he is, but I would venture to guess at the very least it will strengthen your relationship, which you will learn is a very important thing to have as you get older.

First, if you really think the is being ABUSIVE, call your local child help services line.
Then, think about what you did, and even if you are still considering it is unfair what he did, just don't get into more trouble and choose B...
If that game is really important, you could see it on TV or see the replays later. Anyway, you are young and can go to other games in the future.

Your punishment does suck, but sneaking out won't make anything better, it'll just anger your parents more. I suggest that you ask if you can watch the game on television or something. That's a reasonable request. Also,l if you bought the ticket yourself, ask your father to reimburse you for it, as he stopped you from going. Good luck!

well you wont want to hear this but you will probably have to face the music, doing the A stuff will only get you in more trouble, even if he is strict ask if maybe there is something else that could be your punishment, and start by saying that your sorry, other then that I dont know what else to say, this will probably teach you to keep your attitude in check. sorry and good luck

I would probably not go to the game, I have a feeling the repercussion's would be way worse!
The bad part about parents is they don't think about the fact that kids grow up! How old are you? You will eventually be able to do what you want when you want...so just hang in there.

B, don't see the game. If you disobey your father he is likely to give you an even harsher punishment. Also, he will lose trust in you which could have long term reprecussions. Is this one football game really worth ruining the trust that your father has in you?

B. Quit being a snot to your parent. You know the house rules. Sneaking out is only gonna get your backside tore up. Cause you know good and well he's gonna come check on you tonight!
