What to wear? Christmas parties are great. But with them bring the doubts of what to wear, and that's a big problem. What I would suggest for your husband is a nice pair of slacks, shirt, and a blazer. If the party is formal then he would need to wear a suit and tie, but if it's more causal the pants and blazer would be just fine.

Walmart I noticed has some nice suits for men now. The whole suit I think is less than $120. A black suit is practical because he could wear it anywhere. Grab a shirt that is a good color on him. He's ready to go.

Now, for you if it's formal..a nice pair of slacks in a silky material and a sparkly shirt. Again, Walmart has some nice peices that you could put together. A pair of heels and some jewlery. If you like dresses, then by all means do. A black or red dress would be in the holiday spirit. A black dress nevers lets a woman down. It hides what you don't want other people looking at. It slims too!

If the party is causal, a nice pair of slacks and a holiday sweater. There are some very beautiful sweaters that are in the holiday prints, or stay with a basic color that looks good on you and put on a nice necklace and earrings. Please pick something that you feel comfortable in, plus feel confident in. Or you are going to be miserable all night. You want to go looking like a million bucks with a smile on your face. Women sometimes wear things so uncomfortable that the outfit is a bust, when they have a look of pain on their faces.

I reason I say Walmart is because you don't have to break your pocketbook to look nice for a causal evening out. If it's formal and you want a dress, you may have to go to the mall. Visit JCPennys and Sears first, then the others. I hate to spend all that money on something to wear once. So, pull together an outfit, especially if it's causal that you can wear again. Either seperately or together. Sweaters are a great for parties, and then you can rewear them with jeans.

Have the best time, and Merry Christmas to you.

God bless us all...............

My husband always wears dockers and a nice polo.

You can't go wrong with black pants and a dressy blouse.

Seems like guys can get away with almost anything as long as they aren't wearing sneakers. And it's easier for a woman to be a little overdressed than underdressed.

Have fun!

I had to try this approximately 2 years in the past! i be attentive to what your dealing with & its nerve wrecking in view which you wanna make a sturdy effect & not look sleazy. yet in view which you already be attentive to his dad and mom you're off to a sturdy start up. If I have been you i could placed on black leggings, with a stunning sweater dress. decorate with some boots and a extreme high quality necklace. in the adventure that your not into leggings placed on a dressy acceptable with dark wash denims. you'll be able to additionally attempt an prolonged sleeve shirt with a headband and a couple of leggings or a pair of denims extremely. I stay in Michigan so i be attentive to how not undemanding that's to attempt to look attractive with chilly crappy climate. sturdy success!

Wear a nice pair of dress pants and a nice top. Doesn't have to be too flashy just something that's appropriate and you're comfortable wearing

a nice pair of slacks and a red, green or silver blouse with flat shoes. for your hubby a pair of slacks and a sports shirt with bola
( string ) tie and either a sweater or blazer. suggest comfortable shoes rather than stylish. you might want to check with his coworkers to get an idea as to how formal this affair is, as this would give you a better idea as to how to dress.
