No, the spirit of Christ, the basis of Christmas, should be with you always. It's a shame some people wait until a certain time of the year.

It depends what you consider the "holiday spirit"?? The grumpy, scrooge-like, commercial present monger or the spending more time with friends and family and finding a charitable organization to donate to person.

this is all up to you as each individual is different. already have my Christmas gifts what few there are on order or in hand. can't get enthused this year but have moved so this makes a difference. they are already putting up Christmas decorations so will be glad when Christmas is over.

What does the holiday spirit mean? Is it just joy and celebration, eating, drinking, partying? For those who do not have religion, does it make you think of Christianity? Or is holiday spirit just a concoction of the merchants and sellers?
