For the same reasons they married the first time, and possibly some new ones. Each person has his/her own reasons. I don't think there is a single answer to this.

Why wouldn't a person want to remarry if they have been divorced. They may not have been happy in their first marriage and may feel they found someone else that may make them happy for the rest of their life.

If you were referring to why someone would want to remarry the same person they were married too.......it could be they realized they cant live without each other and made a mistake by divorcing.

There are so many reasons why someone would remarry. Death of spouse and wanting to finish out their lives with someone, finding the "right" person, "second chance" at love, finances, benefits, etc.

There are so many reasons to get married in the first place, and i think those reasons are the same for remarrying someone.

Mainly though, its just for love and happiness....

Has found someone with whom they believe the want to share their life with. My fiance and I both swore when we were in the early stages of our relationship that marriage was something that neither of us wanted to experience again. Well fate, luck or love had different designs for us and we are now set to marry next May 20. Often people remarry for companionship, other times for financial security. But love is the main reason a person decides to take the walk down the aisle again, and faith in themselves and their partners that they are meant to spend eternity together.

Would you clear up the question? Are you asking why remarry someone else other that an ex or are you asking why remarry the ex.

I wanted to remarry because I have finally found my soul mate and want to commit my life and love to him forever. We have both been married before, but are so devoted to each other that marriage is the only way we can express it.

I remarried because my hubby wanted a baby and I don't have babies out of wedlock.

maybe for the same reasons that drive you to ask an unclear and uncomprehensable question, twice in a row.
