Tell them you are not happy with what you see and if they can't correct it you will not be moving in and would expect your deposit back. They may co-operate .. if not I would not move in. ... you may loose your deposit BUT may be able to sue them in small claims court to get it back. Take pictures etc to be able to prove your case..

Good luck!

How bad are the conditions? If the condition of the apartment is so poor that the apartment is not fit for human habitation then you may have an argument. If the conditions were this poor and you gave the landlord notice of these conditions and the landlord failed to do anything in a reasonable amount of time, you would have a better argument.

If it is just a matter of cleaning the apartment, I would take pictures/video of the mess, request in writing that the landlord remedy the situation and refund any rent paid for the period you were not able to move in. Or you can clean it yourself, but first work out a written agreement with the landlord as to how much he will reimburse you for your labor.

at the start, call the police. additionally, make certain you're taking photographs of all the topics. which will help help your case in case you chosen to break your hire. It sounds to me like the landlords at the instant are not living as much as their end of the hire. make certain you record all your efforts to touch them. See a legal expert (you may get a unfastened consultation) and that they're going to inform you the way you are able to harm your hire. I heavily have faith you're able to be waiting to get out of your hire with 0 outcomes. you will possibly even get some money back. yet make certain you're taking pictures of each thing that is incorrect, plus each room on your abode, alongside with the carpets and partitions, etc. some landlords attempt to declare which you have have been given achieved all this harm, and fee you cash. make certain you have it documented what your place gave the effect of once you moved out. good good fortune! Please enable me understand the way it seems. suitable desires
