Does anyone know what would cause vaginal swelling?

My neice is 23 years old and has gone to the ER and other doctors because her vagina swells. All the doctors have told her they have never seen that before and have no idea as to what is causing it. I told her I would ask here to see if anyone else has had this or might know what the cause is. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like vaginitis. This article gives a really good description of the symptoms and causes. Have your neice read it and compare her symptoms against those in this article. Hope this helps her out.

BTW, when that article refers to "vagina", it means the interior portion of her genitalia. The outer portion is called the vulva and if this is the portion that is swelling, that article will not apply, but try this one. It gives symptoms and causes for vulva swelling. Make sure to scroll all the way down. The most pertinent info seemed to be towards the bottom.

Tell her to stop shooting porno flicks with multiple large sized men at once. That should bring down her swelling.
