I installed limewire for the first time. I'm trying to burn the songs to a cd. I have windows Media Player and Itunes, but I can't figure out how to get the songs onto the cd.

I don't think I worded my question very well. What i'm trying to find out is how to copy the songs over to Windows Media Player. I know how to burn a cd and i've made a new playlist but it's empty. So how do I copy the songs I already have downloaded from Limewire over to Windows Media Player?

Do this: Open limewire>tools tab>options>player>UNCHECK that box. If your defualt media player is WMP, all the songs will now open with WMP when you double click them. If you DON'T have WMP as your defualt, then go to start>set access and defaults>custom>click on right arrow by custom to drop down the menu>scroll to media player. Choose WMP. You may have to restart.
Now all your songs will be in WMP format. Double click to open, right click to "add to" and your go to go.

Just create a new playlist in Media Player or iTunes and then open that playlist and click BURN.... that's it... :-) Be sure to Rightclick EACH songfile BEFORE you click to open/play it and scan it for viruses. If you open or play it without scanning then you will release any virus it may contain, if any. Better safe than sorry. good luck :-)
