yes it has. i know from personal experience, when me and my family "bond" it's in front of a tv and no one is talking. children used to be playing outside getting fresh air, excercise, and getting to know other kids. now they're just sitting inside like couch potatoes getting more overweight and less socialable. it's a real shame. tv has become an addiction in today's society.

No, not really. But I do think the Internet & emailing have done some damage. People used to send you a birthday card or phone you and say "Happy Birthday". Now it's an e-card. To me that's the lazy way and not personal enough. Also receiving flowers from Hallmark or a book from Amazon is the lazy way. Quick, but lazy and I admit I've done it myself.
We pretty much watch TV as a family. Good thing we're all sports fans. lol lol And of course, during the day, when they're gone I watch my Soap.
Good question.

i don't think of television has inevitably "destroyed" verbal replace. human beings talk their well known exhibits for all time. on the different hand, television has maximum probably decrease down on what my mothers and fathers referred to as "family individuals time!" while i become starting to be up, I wasn't allowed to visual reveal unit any television jointly as ingesting. We had a minimum of one meal mutually and talked on the table. i assume what television has achieved is that now except you're making a wakeful determination to make it sluggish for acquaintances and family individuals, such circumstances are puzzling back with the help of. (possibility is, you would be discussing a television instruct, yet hey, a minimum of that is family individuals time!) television can carry human beings nearer, or have them advance aside. It merely relies upon on the variety you utilize this technologies!

No. At least not for my family. In fact we watch T.V. together. Every Thursday we watch CSI as a family. When I watch movies with my dad, we'll sit there and make fun of the movie together. It's not the only contact we have, though.
