Norton antivirus removal help?

I have norton which I want to remove but will not do so using add/remove and ccleaner.

I have had help removing Avast antvirus and I hope so with this one aswell

Nortons is one of the very worse garbage programs for many years and continues each an every year to get worse.

Nortons does not tell you that when you try and add/remove, that Nortons will appear that is has been removed, but it is still in your system. Nortons leaves about 350 fragments glued to all your files and hidden all over your system to cause conflict. (Nortons just hates when some one removes their garbage out of your system).

You don't want to go into your registry on a manual basis an attempt to remove 350 plus keys. One mistake and you will have to reformat your entire system.

I used Registry First Aid for over nine years and this program has never removed a good registry key. (Plus you will get a back up of everything the scan finds and you delete. An all scans start with an auto backup of your complete registry).

You can find the backup at start=search files=, type in: "backups", after scan you will see RFA backups, open and there are your keys that u can delete or restore.

Instructions:

First run the program "check registry for errors", after scan you will see all associated registry keys come up with a check mark next to a green, yellow and red box. You can place a check mark next to the red box and don't worry, becasue I do it all the time and no good key is removed from your system. Plus u have the backup of deleted keys.

Now here is how you will rid registry of all associated keys for nortons and symantec.

Now open "Search The Registry". Type in nortons and then add, and you will see a check mark and nortons added in the screen.

erase at the top where you typed in nortons and replace with symantec, add and now you should see both nortons and symantec, with check marks ready for a scan.

Scan an all associated keys will be found an appear. You want to left click with your mosue over each assoicaed key and drop down the key (or where you see the arrow pointing down on the right). So that you open that one key and see "Delete String".

Do this for each assoicated key. An all of the fragments will be removed. Plus you wil have a backup off all deleted keys that you can delete or restore.

Now reboot your system. After reboot open start, run: and type in c://program files, open browser, open program files and look through all your program files for "symantec", now open and delete the file. It will not say as before that file in use, unable to delete.

If it's not removing, it's most likely corrupted and you will need to get assistance from Norton.

start, move mouse 2 settings, click onto files and folders, type in norton and click local disk c.. it will search 4 all folders and then you can delete everything that has norton on it..
