Well, if you find that reason to break up, then perhaps so. If you are both willing to work on the problems within the relationship, including that of your pets, then work with it. They probably weren't introduced properly.

You can't force people to get along, pets have their own personalities too. You can try to have them be friends. But would your best friend be your best friend if your pets didn't get along?
