One such veteran, a friend of mine, has been cloned, reported mercilessly, and been deluged with derogatory remarks.

I presume from people who are still being supported by mommy and daddy.

I cannot see around the curve of the earth...anyone can say they are anyone and post anything. If people disagree then they disagree..that is the true essense of freedom of speech...the disagreeing part.

The ads I saw during the last campaign showed absolutely no difference in the amount of drivel and lies both sides were capable of...right left up down everyone was hateful, disrespectful and contemptable. Gives us all a representative to be proud of no matter who we are..being a member of the military has absolutely nothing to do with it. My father just died in a VA Hospital and my husband served his country for 8 years . What are you doing there cupcake?

So if you join the military, you're never supposed to get criticized? Kerry was in the military, so I guess according to your logic he's right all the time too.

I think there are a lot of people who joined the military and found out the truth: the military is a joke. I'm a veteran that served in Afghanistan and all I can say is that the military is not what most civilians perceive it to be. A few of them do deserve respect, but a lot of them don't.

John Kerry was a veteran-is that hate and contempt from the right? All veterans should be honored.

Unlike your girlymen politicians, I've been there and done that. Combat is too depressing to add the burden of questioning whether we should have been sent there in the first place. I was not capable of questioning Vietnam until I had been out of combat nine months.

More rhetoric and divisiveness. We all respect the troops.
