Christianity, religion. Social institutions to glue us together, to behave, to feel secure about dying, mystically connecting, or life's benchmarks.
Originating from God. The Beginning and End.
So we ought to try our best to forgive and stick around. If, at the end or your rope, you can't, then you can't. I mean, I never divorced. But we don't have kids, so whatever. We don't treat marriage like we're dating. But if it is time to part, then we jump through all the hoops first.
I can't believe I'm writing all of this. I'm not proselytizing! I am not the one to do it. For sure.

The reason so many people get divorced period is that we don't take the time to get to know someone.. I mean really get to know someone.
Woman woe men to the alter or men love the idea of having a regular playmate and they don't take the time to look at the whole picture.
Take your time to find a partner, there is no need to rush and if you outgrow someone, so be it...part amicably and make sure the kids are taken care of and move on.
It is all about enjoying the moment and allowing that joy to follow through to your future.
This is not to say there will not be tough times, but even tough time are bareable when you have a partner that is in your corner...otherwise you just have a bimbo that is going to just cry when the going gets tough or leave you high and dry.
Christian or whatever...take time to get to know someone, but take time first to know yourself and what you love and can tolerate and then only then will you be able to handle a commitment to another.
Blessings

Simply because the so called "Christians" don't follow the Bible's direct words. The 'Christians' haven't felt the real God, and they don't understand many things. I for example am a non-denominational Christian. No one in my 'church' has any record of divorce and any 'unhealthy' family living. Another example is that many people think a church is a building where they hold religious services. But according the the Bible, it is made up of members born of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ aka regenerated aka saved. Many people don't understand that. Therefore, the Christians that get divorced truly don't understand many things-they call themselves Christians but when they go to 'church' they don't get anything out of it. They go like, yeah whatevah i believe. Not true. If they believed they would understand.

The bible tells us not to judge others and we are supposed to forgive others...from their mistakes.... but day in day out many Christians do not live by what the preach....if they did it would be a better world...In Mathew it is where tells us not to judge others.. but we all make this make and we do.....I know I am not perfect and I am far from it. with many regrets. Even God wants a couple to try to stay together if they can...even if someone makes a mistake and cheats...that's where forgiveness comes in...
Jesus says you need to forgive others of their sins or how can God your heavenly forgive you of yours.

Christians aren't perfect, although the unbelieving world seeks to build them up to be perfect, so they can call them hypocrites later.
In fact, the Bible allows for divorce due to the "hardness" of people's hearts, but is also clear that divorce does not fit the covenant of marriage that God ordained. Divorce represents a failure on man's part to hold to the marriage covenant, but again, as in all things, we are not perfect, so divorce happens.
The Bible is full of things that we "shouldn't" do, but not because God is some cosmic Santa Claus keeping up with who's naughty and who's nice. It's showing us how we don't measure up on our own, apart from him.

Basically marriage is life long contract. These divorces have become a joke, whereas it the least allowed thing. Moreover, to create, build and maintain a family is job of high responsibility. Therefore the couples should have patience to listen, bear others ~ it need sacrifices and both should do their best to continue till end of life. Divorces are harming and damaging the kid's spirits and personalities. Both mom and dad should feel their responsibilities and think thousands of times for their kids b4 thinking of separation.

Not limited to any Religion-marriage should not be understood just as a contract to live together. It is also a Social Contract to ADJUST-in most cases, marriage fails when the husband and wife fail to adjust. They need to develop understanding by dialogue;that is a real bond in the relationship.

A Christian is human too. We are not moral robots. My devoted wife left me for a doctor without warning. She succumbed to selfishness, greed, envy, and unforgiveness.
As a Christian's we are so outnumbered and bombarded by sin and temptation more than 16 hours a day. It's a tough fight...

We Christians are human and make mistakes in marriage that allow the enemy to creep in and have his way.
But to wake and realize that prayer, repentance, and forgiveness is a must, any marriage can be salvaged.
