The price of freedom
is more than anything that can be paid. No one can
make you free.
It is impossible to force freedom upon another.
Very easy to fail to protect it though.

Tolerance is the price of freedom. We are only free to the extent that we are willing to tolerate that which annoys us.
As others exercise what they perceive as their freedoms, we (as a society) have to decide what is acceptable, or at least tolerable.
So let's be clear...every functioning society restricts the behaviors of its members. You are not free to break the law, abuse other people, or even to abuse yourself.
The acceptable / unacceptable threshold moves as society evolves. But as long as we want to be a community, there will always be a threshold.
And that's a good thing.

The price of freedom is not "The old Lie; Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori." The greatest danger to freedom lives within your own borders.
"Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people, by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations." - James Madison
The price of freedom is constant vigilance by the people to keep "those in power" from stealing it away from us.
"The essence of Government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands, will ever be liable to abuse." - James Madison
The price of freedom is the will and the courage to stand up to the abuse and conquer it.
"Wherever there is interest and power to do wrong, wrong will generally be done." -James Madison
The price of freedom is to become active and correct the wrongs the government has inflicted on its people.

Vigilance against those who would take it away. Stop being negative for a minute and realize the way to _achieve_ freedom is not through rhetoric and name calling.

It varies. Vigillance to ensure your rights aren't taken away. Sometimes the price is your life. You have to fight wars to make sure that another nation, or muslim radicals, take away your freedom. Sometimes it costs your life. Sometimes it just requires that you assert your rights in order to maintain them.

Is life to the kids of the future
A viable Palestine means a viable Israel and no viable Palestine means no viable Israel and wars go on between the two people.
No one could NOT change his mind unless he has no mind.
Occupying other people by force is losing policy in the past and now and has no future.
