tried the view option but its not available in IE7, what propose dose the address bar have anyway ,thought i would ask on more time

Yes, the view option is available in IE7. With Yahoo Tool Bar,
you will find it as follows:-
tools - check menu bar
and you will see the bar appear below the address bar
(File Edit View Favorites Tools Help)
But this won't help you delete the address bar - you can't.
Why do you want to remove this ? You need it for typing in URL>
Perhaps you mean something else.............? Do you mean the status bar at the bottom?
You can remove this by unchecking in menu bar (view).
If you don't want anything but page on screen select F11 or click on full view (in view)

You can't hide the address bar with IE7 like you could with previous versions and what do you mean what is the purpose of it? You have to type in the address of a site you want to go to somewhere...

Right click "Tools" which is located top right. To select the various options.
When you say the address bar i am presuming you mean the Toolbar? The address bar is used to enter a URL such as http://www.yahoo.com

Place your cursor just above "Address" at the far left of the screen, right click, then un-tick next to address bar in the drop down window. The address bar should then disappear

lol paddy you and ur IE7 is craking me up IE7 is in one word +++++ .lol
hit on >start>control panel>add remove >check mark on da top of >add remove >show up dates<<
then look for (IE7 ) hit on that then hit remove . (IE7) will uninstall and your system will re-run (IE6) no need to download (IE6) again
