lets suppose that you could take away your child's ability to reproduce (painlessly) and then return it when you think they're old enough...would you do it?

No... that's their choice... I'll try to talk to my kid about using protection, but I wouldn't take away something...

wow...what a question! When I first read the question, I was like yeah and then at age 18, he could have it back. But Now that I'm thinking about it... I wouldn't do that to my son. I believe everything happens for a reason, good or bad.

Normally children are unable to reproduce.

Is yours one of the early pubescents, shaving and masturbating at age 9?

Assuming this is the case, I would remove all ability to reproduce until at least age 13.

Haha.. I've always said that when my daughter is 13 I will take her to the doctor and she will be put on "special vitamins".. Honestly. I am her parent and until she is 18 I definately should be able to control whether or not she gets knocked up.. Thats my opinion.. People say that it is their body.. Ok, so if they want to get tattoos all over themselves is that ok because it is their body? Let them learn after they get something stupid tattooed to their forehead? I don't think so.. Let them smoke some crack because it is their body? Umm, no..

LOL
How many girls you got......Well I guess that would be nice. You wouldn't have to worry about them getting PG but then you'd have problems in another areas. Best thing to do is talk and pray they listen and YES if I was able too I probably would.

The only reason that I would not do it is because I would be affraid that some sort of glitch in the programming would result in the inability of its return.

No because its a lame excuse to not take the time to teach your child responsiblity. Besides I believe in destiny and fate...

Even though I do not strongly believe in god, I do believe that all souls that are to exist have already been created so I would be afraid that I would be responsible for killing my grand child.

I know..My beliefs are screwy!

No. Although I wish I had waited to have my children, I believe I had them young for a reason. I didn't think I would have to have a hysterectomy at 22, but sh*t happens. Things work in mysterious ways.

nope

I believe in God, and He gave us free will. Who am I to treat my children differently than God treats me?

Teach them how to love, why to avoid sex until they are married, give them lots and lots of love, and they won't venture into unprotected sex. If they do, support them and help raise the child.

But, isn't there something called the pill?

No. When man tries to play God, even with good intentions, failure is guaranteed. Control freaks are their own worst enemy.

No. My children are all adults and I don`t have the right to make those types of decisions for them.
