Restart in safe mode and do it then, to go into safe mode, you restart your computer and when the logo comes up, start tapping F8 key, until it loads, then defrag, then restart. Good Luck.

it is very simple,
some hidden programme, antivirous, etc is interupting, so you have to disable it.
best way to disable all running background programme is
click ^ start^ Run^ here type "msconfig" in open tab, click ^ok
a new window will open -- here in general tab select the third option - selective start up -- here uncheck the option - load the startup item,
or insted genral tab click startup tab and undheck all the tab
click apply
click ok.
the computer will restart
now most of the background startup running programme will not run, noway it will harm your computer, after defragmenting you can start all the backgroung startup programme again.
now right click any where on desktop select properties, select non in screen saver.
and in power option in the same tab select " Never" option for all the power option
disabe all the antivirous
don't run any programme, even songs
now start defragmenting
it will complete its task
thanks for reading this tips, please try and enjoy the speed of your computer

To be honest i'm purely surprised your computing device even works! i'm greatly surprised you haven't any longer had any "Low area" warnings via now. you ought to in no way ever run a problematic force greater desirable than seventy 5% complete. in case you have have been given a 250 Gb force you have have been given to get a minimum of 60 Gb off of it. additionally analyzing what you're saying it seems which you have in no way subsidized something off. If that force crashes and dies on you, you have lost the lot! at the start returned all your records off directly to discs. Then bypass into upload & get rid of interior the administration Panel and get rid of each and all of the previous classes you no longer use. do no longer get rid of and Microsoft Updates or something related with working the OS. Then attempt and run the defrag returned. in case you have in no way carried out it earlier and it particularly is a vast force, I recommend you initiate off it earlier you bypass to mattress and depart it working, with the aid of fact no count if it particularly is badly fragmented it particularly is going to take quite a few hours to do. Then run something like CCleaner to scrub out the registy of empty keys and different rubbish. you're watching a competent days artwork to get it placed good and dealing right.

The reason it keeps restarting is that another program is writing to the Hard Drive during the process. It may be a backgroud program, or even a screen saver.
