The Sheep's Wool is washable. The shrink would occur in the dryer ! I would advise against putting the Sheep in the dryer, that is definitely a NO NO Be humane.

The sheep may appear to shrink if their wool gets waterlogged and flattened, kind of like what curly-haired peoples' hair looks like when they get out of the shower.

I dont know, I hope they are ok in the rain anyway. They probably more at ris in the snow because they are same colour

Yep. They use this wool for making those jumpers that say safe to wash in machine, pre shrunk.
