I agree with you, I'm going to see him on the 30th. You can get complimentary ticktets for his show if you contact the Beeb or look out for the offers in Time Out. Paul Merton is pretty good too.

By far ricky gervais..a man with no formal comic training, yet his wit and timing are second to none.hes on the ball with the mood of the public , a master of sitcom and better on stage , even unrehearsed ad libbing through filming keeps one laughing.
A far cry from the talentless days of lenny henry and billy connolly.
