being in a relationship in which you have absolutely NO plans for marriage or serious commitment?
Some people say it is O.K because even if you dump or get dumped you gain an experience in life...
Others say no, it is not ok, why would you search for something that you know will cause you nothing but pain...

I support the last point because whenever i get into a relationship I put my all into it and at my age I really have no time to waste playing games with someone and their feelings cuz i wouldn't want anyone to do that to me....now if you're young and you still want experience the first point is fine but for me i don't believe in being in a relationship without seeing the future.

i'm for it being ok.
if you didn't try out different situations what would you learn from? how would you now what you finally want in the end?
i think it matters that you're happy at the time because that's where you are, not in the future. worry about the future when you get there.

with as in I have been in a commited relationship that didn't work and now I just want to have fun and not worry about being hurt again.

You can just as easy get hurt if you are planning to marry, or are married. You just never know if the love you feel will last, or the one you love will love you forever.
