I have no idea what you are asking. The earth does not float on anything. It is bound in it's orbit by the gravitational pull of the sun. As for gas, there are clouds of dust and gas that float around out there in space. Technically the earth could be between two of them, but there are none nearby enough to affect anything here on earth.
