the easiest way to do it without scrubbing is fill it with water, and add about a half a cup of bleach. let it soak for about a half hour, rinse, and it is clean. i do it all the time with the coffee pots at work.

Try soaking in baking soda and hot water. Follow by a light wiping with an S.O.S. pad. Rinse with a vinegar solution followed by lots and lots of cold water to remove any residue for cleaning solutions.

you may think this is silly but it works great and will look like new.....boil apple peelings in the pot for a while it will take all the stains completely out. Good Luck!!
