note: i am not saying that "plus size models" are not "beautiful"

Well I would say it starts with high fashion. That's where the "beauty" trends start. In the 40's and 50's it was about healthy curvy woman. Not plus size of course but more natural looking woman. Then fashion started using thinner and thinner woman. Now there are just corpse walking down the runway. I seriously don't think it has anything to do with what men want to see. Granted some men really like skinny girls but others like average to plus size woman. If you look at Playboy, all though the girls are skinny it's not the skinny, I can see her ribs, like fashion and magazine models. They trend to be more healthy looking skinny. Actually the model Emmy who also use to be on the E! Channel was asked to pose for Playboy, all though she turned it down.
I've slowly started to see more plus size models. At least more then recent years. Some fashion designers are taking a bold move and doing shows with only plus size. I also heard that Karl Lagerfeld is considering Lily Allen to be the 2007 face of Chanel. For those of you who don't know her she is a music artist from the UK. She's very average looking and she has a cute round face.

you know thats an excellant question i think its because thats what guys want to see and want to look at im not super-skinny but im not overweight either and guys still dont look at me the way they do skinny girls i think it runs in mens jeans because its liek what they want and nothing else, publicity goes as what peopel want to see and many peopel do not want to see a plus-size girl so you dont get as much publicity, its wrong, i kno

Because that's what the corrupted media likes. There's a lot of negativity in Hollywood, and and very youth obsessed of course. I guess being skinny is beautiful to them, but to me it doesn't look healthy.

Because fat is terribly unattractive. You'll never see a 'plus size' in Playboy or Victoria's Secret...people don't want to see that.
