To middle eastern /arab men or anyone?
is it true that most of the time arab/middle eastern man will have to marry an arab lady as their first wife.. for those muslims guys the 1st wife is always arab den if dere is a 2nd wife will be indonesian or chinese or another race?

and i knew someone she is an indonesian and married a dubai man . yes she wear all the branded clothes/ wealthy in terms of money but it seems that her husband does not want to be seen with her being the fact that she is non middle eastern. and treated like a second class citizen..


so tell me is it true ??

any thoughts? correct me if im wrong . i'm open to all answers

i am not married and not intend to marry one from dubai.. i was just asking if its really true? like i said the person dat i know is my 2nd cousin who married the dubai man

I am a converted muslim. And i am really glad to say you have your facts wrong. I am from ireland my husband from pakastan, and i am his first and last wife. I have never heard of or know anyone that has a 2nd wife let alone be indonesian etc.
What her husband is doing is very wrong and nothing to do with islam (its his ignorance)
It is true that a man can marry up to 4 wives but only if the other wives agree with it, and that the man can financeially keep all wives clothed the same , if each wife wants her own house etc he must be able to provide for all this, its not as easy as it sounds.

If some one is married once in middle east or any other country ,
muslim's can only have one wife according to quran,Qur’an is the only religion on the face of the earth that allows men having up till four wives, Allah says in the Holy Qur'an:

"Marry women of your choice, two, or three, or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one." Al-Qur’an (4:3) i am pesonaly married with one ,

well, i'm a dubai man and to say the truth its a traditional thing...

in islam allah decided every thing and the wives should be equal.

but here they treat local wives better because they are ashamed with their non arab wives; but why did you marry here if you don't likehere??

I'm an Arab Muslim male, who know something about Islam, and I'm telling you:
The words: "Arab, African, Asian, European, or American" have nothing to do with Muslim marriage or religion.
There is no nationality in the Muslim dictionary at all.

if your not of that sect would have 2nd 3rd 4th thoughts of marrying into a greed which if you are British is so diverse so alien from our own believes that .....why would you want to go there maybe love will conger all who knows have heard many stories who knows what is true ...me personally would not go there...having read some of the answers omg think again its scary
