I've never even heard of that saying before!

Due to fact japenese would kill themselves in WWII and then they surrended after the nuke....the saying came from after the war.

It refers to a person as a japanese (hence the yellow) and since they gave up, its why its like saying someone is weak, unable to finish, etc.

John Wayne use to say it in cowboy movies it is not "racial slur" It means you are a coward.
