My madden 2005 doesnt seem to work. Every other game i own works fine on my PS2. Everytime i start a game it freezes on me. Theres no noticeable scratches on it. I was just wondering if this happened to any1 else cuz my old madden game did the same thing. Lemme knoe how you fixed it if you did and also what i can use to clean scratches on other discs w/o buying something

my laser does not need to be cleaned..every other game works its just madden so i doubt its my laser..in fact i got a new PS2 not long ago because the laser blew

This is a very strange situation.
The fact that ALL of your other games work properly on your PS2 indicates that it is the actual disc that is causing the problem, not the game system.
Although I am not what you call an expert, I would recommend simply purchasing a new disc.
Just today I purchased Madden NFL 2005 for X-box at the local EB-Games, and it cost me only $2.99. I believe that I saw the same game for PS2 also, still priced at $2.99. It would be much easier and less time-consuming to merely purchase another game.
