Brown mascara gives me a cleaner look but I am fair-skinned. Black would probably look best with your coloring. Your eye color sounds unique, so the black would play them up and bring them out.

Brown mascara is meant to soften the eyes. It's a more natural look than black mascara.

Brown mascara usually just gives you a more natural look, people say it's not as harsh. however, i love the classic look of black mascara.

brown is a daytime liner, however, i read in a magazine, that blue eyeliner (dark) on the upper eyelid, just short of outer edge, and the same for lower lid, because it does not meet at the ends, makes eyes appear brighter and larger. I tried it, i have brown eyes and only use black for evening.

black mascara seems okay with you and the dark hair and could bring out your eyes.

It's a little softer and more natural.
It should work well with your eye color.
