Republicans will be very defensive and hurtful for the next six months or so...that's their track history during the run up to, during, and after a landslide defeat for them in elections.
The fact is that a huge majority of Americans said, by their vote, that Republicans are not only a minority of the American people, their thinking is well outside the mainstream of our society.
Remember how nasty they were after Bill Clinton solidly won the presidency twice in a row? They got even nastier after GWB was awarded the presidency by the Supreme Court - trying to spin a nine-member election as the "will of the people".
Just ignore the few Republicans out there who are trying to undermine our great America. Remember, their last committee (GWB and his posse) will be out for good in a couple of years, and then they'll all go away for many years to come.

I don't agree entirley with the quote, however I look at this issue and think it boils down to a fairly simple thing.
If you see something being done that is wrong, and don't take action against it, you are condoning the action; and that makes you just as guilty.
e.g. if you were walking down the street, and saw someone beating an elderly women what would you do ?
you have 2 choices
1- take action, or
2- do nothing
Sometimes taking action can lead to unpleaseant consequences, but it's still the right thing to do

They think anybody who doesn't physically pick up a gun to fight, is supporting terrorists. Infact, freezing their assets has done them more harm than all the bullets thrown at them so far. If our 'friends' would quit trading with them, they'd run out of recruits as soon as their refrigerator was empty.

Frankly I don't know why anyone who is not a multi millionaire or billionaire would vote republican. Propaganda would have many believe it is the religious political party- yet the bible says that men can not rule men. Mixing religion with politics is anti bible and anti constitution. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Ask them to go to Iraq or Afghanistan and point to a terrorist. The kids like to play. One thing for sure they are not in Iraq now are they? These types are brave enough to let you go there and fight or die in the occupation of Iraq. Most are like Bush and Cheney, draft dodgers, they will not fight.
