That's why Atheists strive to better the world

We dont believe God exist so, we strive to better the world because we know that ONLY MAN can save man

Do you understand now?

First off "Christians" are not closed minded, "people" are. I've known atheists that couldn't understand or tolerate any other view. Most people are just close minded and see someone having a difference of opinion as a personal challenge.
"We can't both be right. I have to be or my whole world will collapse"
I personally am a Christian, and have no problem understanding atheists. I also agree that only man "will" save man, I just believe that there is something more out there than us. I understand your view, I just think it's limited.
God may not be some old bearded man in robes standing behind pearly gates, or a scary Arab dude but
I can assure you there is something else out there.
It may not be Elysium or Nirvana but there is a world
or existence or whatever it is beyond us.
Or it could be that the world is a bit flatter than I thought. I try to keep an open mind, I suggest it to others.
I am an American and have the right to think wrongly, and so do you. The fact is, we are probably both a little wrong and a little right.

Yes but I don't think you do. Some atheists oppress believers.
Some believers condemn non believers.
True humanitarians help humanity and respect the other person's belief without condemning or trying to change the other. I hope there are lots like that amoung Atheists and believers.
A true man believes what he believes and has nothing to prove to anybody and a true woman the same.

You're stereotyping a group of people who are very different in many aspects. Just as some but not all Christians understand Atheists there are some Atheists who still do not understand Christians. You can sum up those in both categorize who are not willing or capable to understand with two words: narrow minded

I comprehend Athiests only effective. What i don't comprehend is how a perception equipment it is meant to be so "enlightened" can produce the numerous maximum irracible, boastful people I truthfully have ever had to handle. I truthfully have met fleetingly few Atheists who try to "better the international" exterior of insulting and attacking each and every thing they disagree with. As for guy being the only one that may shop guy, properly... given the probabilities of that occuring, the historic tract checklist of guy's fulfillment at this, and the overal barriers of mankind, it is by ability of everywhere between the main depressing and hopeless issues I truthfully have ever heard all people say ever. Mankind is infinitely greater probably to destroy itself and each thing it buddies with 1000's of situations over previously it will shop something. yet i'm a 5th degree pessimist whilst it comprises humanity - what do i comprehend?

I believe that only humans can solve their own problems, too. Also it does seem that religion breeds a lot of violence.

The part I never understood is that supposedly Jesus and God loves us all, but if we don't believe in God then he will punish us by sending us into a fiery and painful hell for the rest of eternity.

So you can be the kindest, most considerate, and moral human being on the face of the Earth, never hurt so much as a mosquito and yet if you don't believe in God you will be PUNISHED with extreme violence! That I do not understand.

I am sorry, but I do not buy the notion that Atheists subscribe to any kind of universal behavioral code. There are well behaved Atheists and there are anti-social Atheists; much the same thing one finds among the religious.

We understand, we just dont agree, and thats every persons right! To be able to believe in whatever "god", God, or lack thereof. Why do you feel it is so important to push your athieistic point of view on everyone?

I respect your right to believe what is right for you. If you behave in that manner you are a good person If we are right and you are not, I believe you will be judged when it is time and I don't think you are excluded . I am a Christian, I just believe heaven is not closed to you.
