Well there are plenty of people out there are are dead in mind and heart and spirit and devoid of hope. So how much worst off would they be existing as a vampire. Or being in love with one. But I would hate to believe that the times we live in are so bad that some people only hope for love is to love a rotting corpes. Another thing that I wonder about is why would someone want to love something that kills and drinks blood (And that is so evil and can never be trusted) to contunial to exist. Please will someone tell me what is so sexy about that. I mean he or she is dead they could never make love to you and the smell is suppose to be so bad that it is capable of driving someone insane and what they look like in a mirror, And yes they do cast a a reflection which enables you to really see them as they really are ( A mass of rotting flesh). Which is by the way written in all the ancient text that talks about them, What is it about them, That would cause both men and women to fall in love with that image.......................

The actual is story is quite sad. It was his bride thowing herself down a cliff because she was lied to about his death, that sent him into such despair. He was living in loneliness for centuries until he found her again. We can only dream for such a love.
