Can you all name some nice looking and nice to live in apartment complexes near the center of Austin?

Also, what are the names of all the student apartments in Austin?

Thanks!

This is not actually an easy question to answer. The 'center' of Austin is a very unclear concept. Do you mean near downtown? Near the University? Near the Arboretum? All three of these locations could be considered the 'center' of Austin.

Likewise, 'student' housing in Austin is also less clear than in other college towns. UT has both dorms on campus and private dorms off of campus (for example, the Masonic and Dobie dorms), as well as several CoOps. And, there are many apartment complexes around the city that cater to students, some are quite far from the University, but on the UT bus lines (Far West and Oltorf/Riverside areas are examples). In Austin, the UT buses cover much of the city, and the city buses are free to students.

Google "apartment locators austin texas" or a similar term. Call one of the services that come up in the result and ask them for this information. Most are free (collecting fees from the apartments) and should be able to provide you with answers and apartment listings.
