Just wondering if anyone out there has tried different types of varifocal lenses in their glasses. If so, what ones did you find gave the best field of vision.
In particular, has anyone tried any of the BBGR lenses. ie. the "Selective" or the "Evolis".

Yes, but couldn't get on with them. Found I was moving my head around to see through the different areas. Went back to single prescription lenses. Good thing about varifocals is that if you can't adjust to them, you can change to single vision lenses.

I found, with three areas, that it took in all some five or six weeks to fully adjust to the point where you have re-taught your brain how to look and how to see. It gets better every day and is well worth persevering. Be careful on stairs, though.
