Government provides you so much. Hospitals, education system, roads, parks, employment etc. And you have social security net. Ad from where the government gets money. It is the Tax that we pay under different systems - Income tax, property tax etc.

Taxes pay the government to run our lives. Without our taxes, the government would not be able to exist. The system exists for ease of administration.

It is more efficient to utillize taxes to maintain social structure than individually making those changes.

And ideally, politicians see a countrie's issues from a big perspective rather than us who see it from our own point of view.

Do you want to have to pay for education (elementary through high school)? Imagine paying college tuition type rates for all schooling throughout your life! Also, don't forget about those on welfare. How else would they slide through life unless we paid their way?

Most of the money goes to welfare...aka teenage parents who keep having babies, it also goes to worthwhile causes such as the military and public education
