I have a bluetooth dongle on my pc

You will not be able to access your modem directly from any wireless technology. You need to get something called a wireless router. When you plug that into your modem it will send out a wireless signal that computers can pick up. A blue tooth dongle will not let you access the internet even with that, you will need a wireless card with the same standard as the router. Either A, B, or G. Make sure they are both compatable and it will work after a bit of configuration.

Buy a 'Belkin ADSL Modem with High Speed Wireles-G Router'; and a Wireless-G USB Adaptor. Brilliant!

Apple's original airport actually could communicate wirelessly and had a dialup modem on board. These days more people have broadband so most wireless routers are designed to connect to (A)DSL.I've found some solutions though I have no idea of cost.

you need to buy a wireless adapter/dongle for your pc.netgear or belkin make some good ones (around $25)

I don't believe there are any wireless serial devices. Most modems today are internal only
