Previously many umpires gave decisions biased in favour of the team from their own countries. Nowadays it is almost unintentional human error. Often such decisions are costly. So there must be a system of review of decisions that are glaringly wrong. It would be in the best interest of cricket. And umpires could be equipped with newer gadgets to minimise errors in keeping with modern trends.

Umpires are also human and as such some of their decisions may go wrong. When such decisions are not intentional or partisan, they have to be pardoned for the same. However, if any umpire is found to be taking wrong and partisan decisions, the team can lodge complaint to ICC about such umpires.
