My cheerleading tryouts are in April and i've been practicing like crazy. I never tried out before so i dont know what to expect. The cheerleaders at my school arent realy that big on stunts so i dont have to be the best at that. Please tell me what tryouts are like?!

As a current cheer coach, first and foremost I would have to tell you to be ready. Know your routine backwards and forwards, and keep your movements sharp.

Be loud, but not shrill....use your diaphragm.

Be enthusiastic and don't stop smiling. Most of all have a good time.

Good luck

Tryouts can be nerve racking, but you just have to relax.
Don't talk to much to people, concentrate on your motions. Practice movements and stunts any chance you get while you are there. Show up earlier, before the tryouts start. Bring lots of water and a few snacks to get you through. Take deep breathes and RELAX. Give it your all and have fun. Good luck!

with a bit of luck via now you haven't any longer tried out!!! i'm testing for faculty. right this is what I even have discovered. one million. SMILE!!! It soo can't be under pressure adequate, prepare your pearly whites 2. With quantity one million being reported ensure you sweep your tooth 3. be loud 4. after each and each cheer prepare spirit ( e.g bypass team , you acquire this, and so on) 5. prepare your motions, be sharp which incorporate your severe V and T. 6. prepare the dance ( you are able to or would possibly no longer learn one, we do) 7. hear to the coaches and supply them complete interest in any respect TIME!! 8. be respectful , ( say confident maam, thank you, and so on.) 9. placed on your team hues 10.prepare the cheers and chants And no you do no longer suck in case you're placed on the 9th or JV team, it must be that there are wayy to many varsity cheerleaders as there is. i could easily bypass to cheer camp, the clarification being you learn sooo lots , you get guidance that coaches is probably no longer waiting to coach you, and cheer camp is purely relaxing! yet while your hearts no longer in it, i does no longer recommend cheer foremost, particularly cheer camp!!
