easiest way is to upload your video on youtube, then youtube.com will give you a link to embed the video right onto your website so that the video plays on your site.

you really should get away from free webs and go to http://www.sitesled.com/ you get alot more for free there

♫♫ Embedding Media ♫♫

◙ How to add/remove video to Xanga, MySpace, Friendster etc.

◙ Sometimes it isn't possible to upload music or videos to your homepage directory. Some hosts don't allow you enough data transfer and some don't allow you to upload large file sizes. If you have either of these problems you can upload your media here http://www.supload.com/

◙ After uploading your file(s) you need the full URL to where the file is located. then you can go here http://cit.ucsf.edu/embedmedia/step1.php and use one of the tools to make the HTML source code.

◙ Let's suppose your full URL looks something like this.

http://www.supload.com/?000112967

◙ The tools will ask you for the full URL. But you can't just put it all in at once. First it asks you for the server and then the pathname.

◙ This is the server.
http://www.supload.com

◙ This is the pathname.
/?000112967

◙ After you have answered all the querries the coding tool asks click the generate button. On the next page copy the code into your computer's memory (clipboard). Now go to the editor you are using and paste the resulting code in your page. Now what's hard about that? :)

◙ The above method is called Hot Linking or Remote linking. Most hosts don't allow Hot Linking. But these file upload sites almost always do.

◙ NOTE: If you do it this way don't be surprised if you go to play your music or videos and find out they don't play. Sooner or later all servers either crash or are taken offline for maintenance (it doesn't happen very often but it does happen). When this happens the media that's stored on Supload's server will not play until their server is back online. This why it is always best to upload files to your own directory whenever possible. Back in the old days (middle 1990s) Geocities servers used to crash several times a day. :(

◙ If you are going to have 3-4 MP3s or videos on your homepage you need atleast 10gb of data transfer a month. Any less and your site will exceed your data transfer limit. When that happens your site will be taken down by your host for period of time to get you to buy more data transfer.

◙ Many libraries world wide have books related to the internet, web and computers in general. They also have CDs and DVDs. Go to your local public library and get the username and password for http://www.firstsearch.org/ You can look up the book yourself but they will have to order it for you. Sometimes this can take awhile if the book is checked out by someone else. After reading the books and making copies of certain pages with a photo copier simply return it to them.

◙ By using firstsearch you can search for any book in the world. Some libraries might charge a small fee but most are free. Every web design book I have read was acquired in this fashion. :)

First of all you have to have a web site that allows streaming video. These type sites cost around $50 month and up. Yahoo SiteBuilder has a service for $11.95 a month and you can put music on but no movies. You could however, link it to a website that does allow your movies, like YouTube.
