What do you think is the biggest issue(s) with conservatives/liberals?

Conservatives:

Many see what we're doing in the Iraq and don't care about the lives being lost on both sides. Most of these people are struggling to exist and they are caught in between crazy Islamic radicals and the US. It's costing our country in lives and money, but they will blindly follow their leader until the end. Anyone that doesn’t agree with them will be called unpatriotic. Most will emotionally oppose abortion, but shrug if they see a 5 year olds dead body in the streets of Iraq.

Liberals:

Everyone deserves a free ride, if someone doesn’t want to work let’s provide for them. Illegal immigrants are great, in fact let’s change our country to accommodate them. War is never necessary. Let the world walk all over the US. Let’s tax business until it can’t take it and it leaves to save money in foreign countries.

It's so easy to look at the shortcomings of liberal or conservative thinking. A moderate looks at the strengths of both side's logic.

Those who are disadvantaged need our help. But, that help should be a hand up not a handout.

We need to react with aggression when aggression is aim at us. But that retaliation should be narrowly focused.

We should walk softly in world affairs, but carry a big stick.

There is a great deal of strength when liberal and conservative logic stands shoulder-to-shoulder.

It goes beyond that, cause remember, Bill sent troops to die in Somalia and Bosnia and no one yelled this loud. Conservatives believe that your money is best spent by you. that Government shouldn't spend more than it takes in.

Liberals believe you are not smart enough to make informed decisions and that Government is suppose to take care of you because of that. They also like to " tax the rich", which is another way of saying, " tax Ford, GM. Walmart and all those other people" which as you know, means higher prices for the working poor, us. And yes, many do move out of the US cause the cost of doing business is too high.

You don't see them taxing all the movie stars who speak out and support the liberal agenda do you??? Imagine that, just another way to tax the working people and give welfare to those too lazy to work.

For me it is HONEST elections. The intent of HAVA was hijacked by the Repukes to make crooked shamlections MORE probable. There is some legislation called the COUNT EVERY VOTE ACT which might??? be a remedy for this problem which MUST be solved to stop fascism.

actually, if all the extremists would lower their strident voices we'd likely discover that labels like "conservative" and "liberal" are inaccurate for most Americans. we probably aren't so different from each other as the divisiveness of politics imply.
