the prize should be what ever you can get for free or very cheap. Perhaps it could be labor, like your friends raffle off all of you cleaning someones house or yard work or something like that.

First make sure it is a legal raffle. Your prize can be whatever you wish. Many raffles are for a certain amount of prize money or something like a bicycle. I've seen tickets sold to win a house.

The prize depends on how many tickets you can sell,you have to make enough profit for your trip while giving a good enough prize to get people to buy tickets,and people always like televisions.

well seeing your trying to raise money to go some where half the money would not be wise, why not offer a day of relaxation while you and your friends do the house care for the person who wins the ticket, like doing there dishes, cleaning up there bedrooms and living room, and bathroom and maybe cutting the lawn weeding there garden, washing there cars, cleaning out there cars, I am sure what ever it will be you can think of something that you can do without using your money.

Look around. What ya got? Maybe half the money collected. Maybe something of value somebody has who will donate it. Don't buy something to raffle off, that will cut into the profits. Make sure it's something that appeals to most people. You can't please everyone, but you can aim for the bulk of them. Good luck.
