Zambrano...and they wont do that, the rest of their young pitching is hurt and worth nothing...Wood, Prior, Guzman...the other young kids that pitched for them at the end of the season were inconsistency and unspectacular.
Cashman said he's keeping A-Rod...and i believe him.
Remember when the Cubs hired Dusty? Jeff Kent was a free agent that year, and the news was the cubs were going to sign him (because he was Dusty's boy), he ended up with Houston...I think the A-rod hype is the same. He's not coming to the Cubs just cause he played for Lou Pinella.

I really really don't think the Cubs would want to do that since they'd probably have to give up Carlos Zambrano and maybe Prior for him cos the Yanks want pitching. They don't need any more offense.
I don't think he'll be with the Cubs next season.

zambrano and some prospects and if the cubs give that up they will just have another good hitter but pitching wins championships or in the cub's case getting to the playoffs and they won't give up their ace and some other players for one guy who can hit.

prob. mark prior and/or kerry wood, and throw in a nice prospect. However, it looks like A-rod is staying w/ the yanks
Im a Mets fan, but I sort of like The Cubs and hate the yanks
LETS GO CUBS

Zambrano.. and theyld be idiots to do it.. but if they called the yankees Today and said we'll Give you Zambrano for Arod Straight up, the Yankees would drive Arod to the airport lol. but if they ask for the Yankees to Relieve som of the Contract, then it would cost them Zambrano and another player off the Major League Roster or a couple good minor Leaguers.

A ton of money and a few good prospects. Not worth it. Plus, A-Rod will be with the Yankees next year and for years to come.

Don't think it matters. Id rather have John Mabry with one leg over A-rod. Yankees should resign Boone, his one hit makes him more of a yankee the alex could ever be.

Definitely not Zambrano. He is the main ace of that team. If they will get rid of anyone, it will be Prior and Wood. They might not sign Ramirez, so that leaves more money open.
