You could try nail polish remover. I saw my mom do this once.
She had a shirt with polish on it and she suspended it in the sink and poured the nail polish remover onto the polish and let it strain through the fabric. She had so do this many times to get the stain to fade. I'd recommend putting a cup or a bowl underneath to catch the remover and reuse it until the stain is almost out. Then switch to unused remover to completely remove the color.

depends on what they're made of. if cotton, you can probably use acetone, just as you do when removing nail polish from you nails. if there's any polyester in the fabric, i would touch it with acetone. check the heloise hints website, she knows everything! good luck.
