what i like may not be what you like.

I could list hundreds of songs here, but would ask you this:

Do you want guitar solos in it? Do you want the lyrics/vocals to be the key? Do you want a great beat to be the key?

Tell me that and I'll give ya some great songs.

Oh geez, where do I start. There's "don't fear the reaper" by: Blue Oister Cult. Anything by the following artists is good... Pink Floyd, Ozzy Ozbourne, Dire Straits, Journey, The Doors, Tool, Chaotic Revenge, Renegade, Nine Inch Nails, Hinder, Atreyu, Chevelle, Disturbed, and the list goes on and on. With all honesty there are too many good rock songs to list on any web page. People would get bored and leave before they got half way through. My suggestion would be to go to billboard's website and research the top ten songs over the years back to the mid 80s. That should give you more information than you wanted. Lots of good stuff though so I still recomend it.

any alice in chains song, incubus if you consider tthem rock, almost every song they have is good, but Flyleaf Deftones, Korn, many many songs frm them. Seether Rage against the machine < bulls on parade> Almost every sublime song there is, Slipknot, TOOL, almost every song they have , Weezer, and muich much more,
