there is nothing abnormal in what you are undergoing.its a usual feeling that takes over us especially when we are put under the pressure of studying....the stress of achieving something....the sense of responsibility.the main consequence is fear...which results in boredom , eventually lack of concentration.this can be overcome by relaxing yourself, using the right way of study and more than anything developing the desire to study.
just recollect your achievements which will be a souce of inspiration for your futher achievements.
More than anything faith in God and persistent prayers will bring you sucess.

Your low self-esteem is causing you to feel overwhelmed, and you fear that you are not up to the challenge. It's normal and natural. Try a new perspectice......

Realize that ALL challenges present opportunities. Behind each obstacle is a challenge. Here is your opportunity to find out what what works. You have an opportunity to learn something, overcome something, and improve something.

When you meet a challenge and overcome something, you make an accomplishment. Accomplishments are what builds you up. Accomplishments build self-esteem. When you have more self-esteem, you feel more able to meet other challenges. You start to get excited about the next challenge.

Focus less on mistakes. Mistakes are merely ways to learn what didn't work. They do not detract from your quality as a human being. Try something else. See if that works.

You can get over the hump by setting a goal that you know you can achieve. Pick a class, tell yourself to read two chapters when you get home, and DO IT. Do something else for a while, then make notes about what your "take aways" from that chapter. If you miss a few points, don't worry about it because you can always go back and reread it.

Get into the habit of doing things you need to do (studying, homework) while you still have the momentum (right after school) before you do anything recreational. This is how you "buy time" to be spontaneous. If someone calls you and invites you somewhere, you don't have to worry because you have already gotten your stuff done.

Sometimes it helps to contact a friend from the class, and "race" with them to get schoolwork done. Make plans to hang out, but only when the work is done. A little healthy competition can be quite motivating.....

everybody wants to excel in studies, however, they don't know how to start. first, change your study habits. take away all the distractions from studying like games, or tv.
it's normal to lose enthusiasm. I can relate to your problem!
if you are lacking enthusiasm, then think of fun ways how to learn your lesson like group studies for instance or if you feel that you have so much things to read and you lost your enthusiasm, ditch the book and find other helpful sources.

Yes, it is normal, but don't dwell on it. Success always comes with hard work. That is why some succeed and others don't. It takes a lot of will and determination coupled with hard work for one to succeed. No pain, no gain. It would be a great feeling of self fulfilment if you will be recognised as an achiever in your class. That should be enough motivation for you to keep trying. Take advantage of your chance now because you will never pass this way again. Carpe diem. (sieze the day)

You know full well that you are not worthless. You may be a little depressed right now. You may want to consider carrying fewer classes per semester until you get your groove. Also, please seek counseling. If you do not have your parent's insurance, then inquire at the student health office about some counseling for depression and anxiety. You may need medication. Do not feel ashamed about this, people of all ages and from all walks of life feel overwhelmed sometimes.

Try to look at yourself in a different perspective .In a optimistic way. Like seeing the positive things in you . By remembering all the good things that happened to you in the past . SUrround yourself only with people who love you , encourage you and see the good in you.
I was like you when I was in collage , depressed but later I started telling myself how much God loves me that He gave His only son Jesus to die on the cross for me . I meditated more and more on His love and that gave me a sense of being precious , valuble and loved . Then I had the desire to shine and be te best because of the joy I have . Try it and see , it will change your whole life and the lives of those who are around you. Thats why The bible says count your blessings and name them one by one.Remember the good things and be thankful to God . Thats how you overcome depression . Wish you all the Best and remember to pray for everything and anything .
