Not really, for me, the biggest holiday in America would be Independence Day, maybe Thanksgiving is the biggest, or at least one of the biggest.
I don't usually greet people around this season by saying "Happy Thanksgiving". Only if they seem kind, and say "Happy Thanksgiving" before me.

Thanksgiving is a big day for Americans and yes we usually greet one another by saying Happy Thanksgiving. I would say though that Christmas is the biggest day for Americans. I may be wrong and am open to constructive criticism on this but Christmas seems to outweigh Thanksgiving in the American culture.

I don't know if its a the biggest day for an American but it really is one of those big Family holidays where you don't have to have a gift or expected to bring one. And yes, on that day people do generally greet each other with "Happy Thanksgiving" Its a big holiday for me and my family only for the togetherness of it. Being grateful for each other and what we have.

Biggest day? No way. If I happen to talk to a good friend or family member on Thanksgiving then I do say happy Thankgiving or "Have a nice thanksgiving".
The 4th of July is much bigger as well as the holiday season (Christmas, Hannukah, Yule)

Yes and yes. Thanksgiving is a big day of celebration for Americans because we have so much to be thankful for and it is nice to greet others by saying, "Happy Thanksgiving".

It's a great day for us.
A time to give thanks for your good fortunes.
Too few people appreciate the good things that they have in life already.
Helping others is what it's all about.
Happy Thanksgiving,no matter where you are from! Life is a precious gift.Celebrate it!

Christmas is a bigger holiday. Do we say "Happy Thanksgiving"...?
Sometimes, but I wouldn't say it's very common.

as the others have said it is abig holiday, but not the biggest, but what makes it so special is that is usually reserved for family and friends, no religion or civic part to it just a day of feasting and merriment, altough most people do choose to pray to give thanks to god for the good things that have happened through the year.

Not really. At our house the most you hear is "pass the gravy". For old religionists its a harvest festival where they ate and ate to fatten up for the winter when food was scarce. Big day for turkey raisers and Hallmark.
